Kia Michelle RDN, LD, CFT, is a Registered & Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Fitness Trainer translating the latest scientific evidence into practical solutions you can use.

I believe achieving better health through fitness & nutrition is a unique journey to each individual and that journey means building a healthy relationship with food and oneself.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from Long Island University/ Post Campus and her foundational training, includes but is not limited to, human anatomy and physiology, microbiology, biochemistry, human metabolism, and clinical nutrition. My foundational experience includes work as a Clinical Dietitian at a level 1 trauma center in Downtown, Georgia, including surgical recovery, diabetes, kidney disease, cancer, malnutrition, obesity,weight loss, gastrointestinal disorders, hydration replacement therapy and enteral and parenteral nutrition support, before transitioning into private practice. I also hold a certification for exercise science & muscle mastery through the International Sports Science Association and NY Strength Inc. and I am a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), and the Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness practice group (SCAN).

A 15 minute complimentary session is offered to assure it is a good fit.
Initial meeting we will review fitness/ wellness goals, including background, medical hx, diet hx, etc... Set up measurable goals for you to focus on until you return. Set short and long term goals to capitalize on your success of past efforts to develop a winning plan.
Follow- ups: review your progress, questions, and obstacles. As time goes on, the plan becomes more individualized.
I am a Wellness professional invested in your goals and coaching you through out your wellness journey!
Adult ; athletes, active indivudals, those looking to sustainably enhance their health and well- being .
Look for a Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) professional accredited by the CDR who has passed the rigorous RD exam and is nationally recognized as a Registered Dietitian.
In addititon, in working towards mapping out your wellness goals and celebrating your achievements, an investment and accountability is required from both parties, so you want to make sure you work well with the professional you seek out.
