About Linda

I have been passionate about helping others achieve healthy skin since graduating college with a degree in Health Sciences. As an Idaho licensed esthetician, I am also a licensed esthetic instructor. To further enhance my knowledge to assist my clients, I have been trained and certified as a Medical Aesthetician, a Laser Technician and a Laser Safety officer. With over 3 decades of experience, my area of expertise is in skin analysis and personalized skin care treatment regimens that fit my client's lifestyle & budget. As a result, I created the L'SKin ACT Program - personalized skin care based on Analysis, Consultation & Treatment. No matter how challenging a client's skin concerns are, it is immensely gratifying to help someone achieve and maintain healthy skin. Watching their enthusiasm grow as they see the improvement in their skin, brings me joy. Selfishly, working with my clients is relaxing for me and challenges my intellectual creativity to provide them with effective, economical solutions.

I am a licensed K-12 Health Instructor. As my career expanded into medical/surgical dermatology sales, I added esthetics licensing so I could work "hands-on" with patients. In time, I was requested to speak on the radio, TV, professional conferences and to patient support groups. I decided it would be best to acquire the esthetics instructor license to support my credibility in the skin care field.

BSc Health Sciences (emphasis in Anatomy & Physiology)

Idaho Esthetician License (current)

Idaho Esthetics Instructor License (current)

Advanced Training & Certifications:

1. Advanced Medical Esthetics: dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling, cryotherapy, microdermabrasion, etc

2. Laser Technician: all modalities

3. Laser Safety Officer

About the lesson

1. Make an appointment for an initial consultation (30 minutes)

2. Bring a list of the products (including medications) that you use on your skin and hair.

3. Be prepared to discuss your skin care goals, including the realistic time and finances you would like to invest in your skin care

4. If you are under a physician's care for your skin, please bring your medical instructions/medications as these will take priority in your consultation.

5. We will discuss a day to day regimen as well as a monthly/bimonthly treatment protocol based on the outcome of your skin scan analysis, lifestyle and budget.

My clients vary based on need/age. Ages 12 to 81; various ethnicities, male, female, non-binary

1. Ask where/when the teacher/consultant received his/her training. Why did they attend that program?

2. What teaching license(s) does he/she have? Are they current?

3. Does the instructor/consultant have advanced training/certifications in their field of expertise? If so, from where and what was involved in the training?

4. Will the instructor/consultant provide client references/recommendations?

5. What is the course/consultation content? Does the instructor/consultant have a plan; or, does he/she "wing it"?

I have a gentleman client who was self-conscious about his acne scars/discolorations and rough skin texture. After a thorough skin scan analysis, we developed a simple daily skin care routine and he began microneedling treatments. He has been elated with the quick improvement of his skin using the simple program he was willing & able to follow. He happily mentioned how family/friends commented on his skin improvement (without knowing he is having treatments). Helping my clients achieve self confidence and happiness as a result of their improved skin care, brings me joy.
