About Tracy

My name is Tracy Verdecchia and I am a certified Secondary English/ Language arts, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) educator.

I earned my undergraduate degree at Purdue University in 2010 and my masters degree from Concordia University-Chicago in 2012.

Seven years ago, I packed my bags and moved to Palm Beach County, Florida to begin my teaching career. For the past six years I have been teaching my heart out! In that time I taught seventh grade language arts and a variety of high school English courses.

I have taught the following courses:

Cambridge/ AICE:

1. English for Lower Secondary (grade 7)

2. AICE English Language AS level

College Prep/ Honors:

1. 7th Grade English

2. English III: College Prep

3. English IV Honors/ College Prep

In addition to my teaching experience, I have been tutoring since 2008. I have tutored a plethora of differents students ranging from elementary to graduate students. I love to teach, and help others perfect their writing!

I have worked with a vast array of students with varying abilties, strengths, weaknessess and needs.

Age groups: I have worked with elementary, middle, high school, undergraduate and masters students.

Abilities and Needs: I have worked with ESE students who have specific cognitive and behavioral needs- from students on the spectrum to gifted pupils. I have also worked with Cambridge/ AICE, college prep, and honors students as well as, English Language Learners.
