I have implemented educational curriculum in the state of Florida for the past 13 years. I also hold a M.Ed. in Instructional Design and Technology and a B.A. in English. As well as a Professional Florida Teaching Certificate.

My Philosophy of Education is to design instruction using best practices, code of ethics, applicable theories, models, learner analysis, and innovation. I tend to focus my instruction on areas like collaboration, social learning, reflection, self-efficacy, and growth for my learners.

I like to determine the learner's needs and areas they want to focus on. Establish goals and standards, then design an educational learning path with content and activities. After implementation and engagement with the material then assess to gauge learning needs and achievements.
I have worked with all sorts of learners.

Before you meet with a teacher outline what goals you wish to accomplish and a timeline for those goals. Determine what areas are challenging and causing you to not achieve those goals. Try to figure out what motivates you as a learner.
