About Nadiya
Nadiya Atkinson is a current English and Theatre major at Williams that has had many years of tutoring experience in essay writing and English. She has spent the last four years as a college applications consultant for CollegeVine and previously tutored English at Hamilton College Consulting for the SAT. While at college, she worked with kindergarten and 1st graders on basic reading and mathematics skills.
Nadiya loves working with students and supporting them in becoming more comfortable and confident with their writing and language skill set.

We start off by figuring out exactly where the difficulties are and voicing the frustrations that the student has had in the past with the subject. A large part of issues simply come from confidence, so we gently ease into the material, with specific exercise to address the student's needs as well as working around questions that the student already has.
I've worked with a range of students from differing grades, kindergarten to college.
