About Lincoln

I've helped classmates in the past and their grades after my help went up from their average score.

I excel in English of almost any kind, as well as History.

What I am best at is essays. Let it be research essays, fictional writing, book analysis, editing and proofreading I'm all about it (and I enjoy it!)

I have a great passion for writing fictional pieces, I'm often told I think of so many ideas that I must have been a classic writer in a past life.

I also love to do deep-dive research into history. From ancient Greece all the way to current problems. I'm successful in both broad/open-ended essays as well as more strict ones.

I'm excited to help your child live to their best potentials, and I'm always happy to help.

Since I was in elementary school I have always enjoyed fictional writing and would often try and write my own epic adventure stories.

I've always wanted to share my passion for English and History with others. I'm constantly reading more and more, and doing my own research into topics I find interesting.

My heart goes out to those students who aren't able to get a solid grasp on English, and I'd do anything to help them.

I am a junior in high school at the moment, but I have a history of helping my classmates in the past.

I began to realize I was very skilled in writing and note-taking, often getting praise from teachers on my skills. I realized around 8th grade I enjoyed helping other students who struggled with the subjects I was good in.

I never charged for my tutoring, I just felt like sharing my passion with other students.

I have achived high grades in English and History. I have had more than one English teachers in the past write very good reccomendation letters.

I have helped struggling classmates in the past as well, their grade for the assignments I helped with showed a notible difference from their average assignment grades.

About the lesson

Learning their interests and their learning style. All students learn differently and I'd like to cater to that.

I have mainly worked with other classmates, most of them being people who struggled with English and History subjects.

I worked with students who couldn't care less about reading the assigned books so I worked my way around that. Other students who read the books but still struggled I helped as well.

Even if I'm above the skill level of your student I will treat you as equal. If a tutor makes you feel dumb for not knowing things I would suggest finding another tutor. Everyone learns differently and I'm willing to accept and change to that.

I believe the more passion a teacher/tutor has in their subject the learning will be more fun and helpful. Students deserve the best possible education, so don't let a few bad tutors get in the way of that :)

I've gotten past one of the toughest writing blocks I have had. I wasn't able to write for more than a year due to the fear of my ideas not being good enough.

I, myself, recently powered through this and have started writing books and movie scripts for almost all the ideas I was scared to write in the past. So far I believe I have written nearly 12,000 words so far across 5 different ideas and I have gotten no signs of slowing down.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
See if you can ask another student for help, oftentimes students are able to break it down into easier to understand terms.

If your needs are "I'm confused on this subject." Then ask the teacher after. If its more of an accommodation issue (your child has ADHD or trouble with the environment) I'd talk to the teacher about that, and also your parents if they are not aware of it yet.

Almost all teachers are more than happy to help, don't feel afraid to ask! (Teachers love questions too)

My pricing is flexible to situations of the student and the family.

My average price for either subject is $10 an hour. If your child needs more time or help with bigger projects we can talk about increasing the price for that time being, seeing how it would take up more time in my schedule.
