About Donna
Dyslexia Specialist
I received my teaching credential after I spent two years working in residential treatment settings with abused children. My son is Dyslexic so I pursued training for Dyslexia.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Education and hold a teaching credential in both California and Tennessee with over 24 years of teaching experience. I receive specific training for the program that I use.

I offer a free initial consultation with a screening to determine if the program is right for the student. The program I use, the Barton Reading and Spelling System, requires a minimum of 2 hours a week to be effective.
I have worked with a variety of students from many different socioeconomi backgrounds, from 5 years old to 36 years old. I have specifically been tutoring for Dyslexia for the last 6 years.
