About Leslie
I have a BA in Elementary Education. I worked for the Clark County School District for five years. My first year in CCSD I worked only with students who had reading problems.The other four years I taught 2nd and 3rd grade. I have a proven track record of helping children of this age improve their skills in all areas of learning. My main strengths are helping children excell in reading.
I enjoy working with children one-on-one or in small groups. I love to see the excitement in children’s eyes when they began to excel in an area that they were previously struggling with. I am passionate about helping as many young children as I can to excel in reading, I truly believe that if a child can learn to become a great reader it helps them to succeed in all areas of learning.
I have a BA in elementary education. Just completed my CDA degree.

The first in any good tutoring relationship is to meet with the child and their parents to find out the area(s) the child needs help with. The next step is to determine how many times a week the child/ parent wants to meet with me. We then would discuss my fees. Finally if everyone is in agreement we can set up a schedule as to when I will start tutiring the child.
