First I like to get to know them and how they feel about school generally, to figure out what areas they enjoy or feel confident in, and which areas they struggle with. From there, we can get more specific, discussing specific classes, relationships with and expectations from specific teachers and so on.
I've worked with kids from ages 10-18!
