About Mike
I am a Special Education Teacher, who works in a K-2 school, in Holliston Ma. I have a Masters Degree in teaching, and have 12+ years of experience. I have a fun and engaging personality, which makes building a relationship with a student quite easy. During a school year, I provide individualized instruction to children in reading, writing and mathematics (though I also have interest in social studies and science). I have worked with a variety of students, those who have mild learning disabilities to those with more severe learning challenges. I am well versed in the principals of ABA, and am capable of providing discrete trial, task-analysis, as well as behavioral programming.
I am an adult-sized child, with a compendium of knowledge to share. I enjoy teaching reading, writing, and mathematics. My favorite thing is making a connection with a child, and tailoring my instruction to their interests.
