About Merritt
I have always enjoyed working with kids and I love finding creative ways to help each child reach their goals. I am a college student who is interested in tutoring elementary and middle school children in basic reading, writing, and language arts skills. I am currently only offering virtual tutoring. I have experience volunteering at my local elementary school with children who have reading challenges. I also assisted in a preschool class at my church for three years. In addition, I volunteered at the Seattle Aquarium and worked as a part-time nanny. I am 18 years old and I have an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree along with my high school diploma. I graduated with high honors this past year and would love to help children learn how to study effectively. This year, I am attending Liberty University Online to study Psychology. My goal is to one day work as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I am passionate about working with children and families and I love working with elementary students.
