About Kourtnie
I am an English teacher, and I have a degree in English. I am a fluent writer, editor, and revisor each day at my school. My understanding of grammar and mechanics is superior. Additionally, I excel at revising written work to help it reach the next level. I have been teaching writing and grammar classes for three years and just finished my master's degree. Not only do I offer editing help, my ability to re-envision a final product allows my students to make big, yet effective, changes to their drafts. I have studied expository, argumentative, literature analysis, resume, poetry, fiction, and nonfiction types of writing. Additionally, I have experience writing analyses on American literature, British literature, medieval literature, Shakespeare, and contemporary styles of writing.
I have a passion for words, and this is an opportunity to put my passions and talents to its fullest potential. I enjoy helping others understand how to use language correctly and effectively. I push my students to reach new heights each day, and I want to see all students succeed and feel confident in the work they produce.
