About Taylor

Hello! My name is Taylor. I am currently finishing up my law degree (Juris Doctorate) at Chicago Kent Law while working full time at Medline. I worked at Medline as a Quality Engineer before switching over to the Legal Department.

I completed my undergraduate degree in 3 years at the University of Illinois, majoring in Biology and minoring in Spanish. I was able to graduate in under the typical 4 years due to my taking numerous Advanced Placement courses. I have been on the Dean's List and received several scholarships throughout my further education.

I attended Adlai Stevenson Highschool in Illinois, and completed over 15 Advanced Placement classes with top scores (including Spanish Literature, Spanish Language, English Literature, English Language, Biology).

I have always love volunteering and mentoring others, and worked several years volunteer teaching through Junior Achievement. I am an avid reader and writer, having completed my doctoral classes in Writing and other subject matter.

I understand being a student, as I currently am one. I would love to help tutor you, let's get through this together! Please feel free to reach out and we can coordinate video study sessions at any time. I look forward to hearing from you.

About the lesson

Introductions first - get to know one another a little bit. We can talk about our name, age, and any other relevant background information.

-Find out what the students know, as well as what they need help with. Then, we can come up with a lesson plan together.

Full classrooms of gradeschool aged kids.

Find someone who you feel comfortable with and who is able to effectively help you advance in your academic career.

My mother's birthday - I was able to hang out with my immediate and extended family, as well as my new puppy!

Students should assess what the know and don't know about the subject matter, and should always give a go at a problem independently before we review it together.
