About Noa

By tutoring fellow students within my class during my IGCSEs that have benefited from getting nearly all straight As in their final exams (first being leveled at a mere C-grade level).

7A*s and 3As for IGCSEs Diploma (7A*s = Art & Design; Economics; English Literature; Double-Coordinated Sciences - Biology, Chemistry and Physics; Dutch as a Second Language; Indonesian as a Second Language;

3As = English Language; Geography; Mathematics).

High-School AS/A Level Diploma at Dyatmika School

Parsons Paris University Level Degree in-Progress for BFA Fashion Design (including a major in Art & Design, creativity and the Adobe Creative Suite - in particular, Graphic Design).

About the lesson

I first like to get to know where there strengths and weaknesses are and how they feel about their subjects (i.e. what they are interested in and what areas, or topics within the syllabus, that they struggle with or are more disinterested with).

Then we can have more fun with the topics and expand upon those topics, with real life examples, that they're interested and confident in and can spend some extra time with topics that they are less interested in.

I also like to learn how they learn best (i.e. are they a visual, auditory, kinesthetic or a combination of both learning types) so I can decide whether they could benefit from slideshows or oral explanations and learning through dialogues and talking about the subjects (i.e. recitation).

I further also am interested in what kind of syllabus and curriculum they are following (i.e. the IGCSEs or AS/A Level vs. IB or other AP programs - in which the syllabi is often similar but not exactly the same).

Auditory and low attention span students as well as hard-working and diligent students.

To look into their syllabi and establish what you're already good at and your study strengths and weaknesses (because I realise that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses) and all I want to do is make sure that you feel secure in the knowledge of what you're already comfortable and familiar with and what you would like to refresh upon - so it's a more useful and beneficial learning experience for the both of us.

Also, establishing your best learning technique and how you would like to be taught so I can help you with this too!
