About Dailie

I love capturing nature and wildlife through the simplicity and beauty of watercolor. I studied art in my undergraduate and earned my bachelors in art with an emphasis in 2D studio. I love mastering different painting techniques, and continue to learn myself. I love teaching others, and would be happy to teach all ages and walks of life.

My personal passion is painting nature and wildlife. I love the outdoors, as well as educating myself more about it and being out in it. Painting is my way of expressing my love and adoration for the beauty of the earth. I also find it a continuous challenge to continue to learn and master new techniques and taking on new ideas. I love learning, and I love meeting and helping others, which makes the perfect teacher.

I started teaching in high school, when I taught piano lessons from my home and dance lessons at the dance studio. While still in school, I volunteered and took my own additional art classes outside of school in order to gain more experience. Since graduating from my undergraduate a year ago, I've had a years worth of teaching.

For the past year I worked at a senior center in which I held an art class for an open group of senior ladies. I adored getting to know them and spend time making art with them. I also have an abundance of experience in working with kids of all ages, also including teaching other subjects within the fine arts, including piano lessons from my home and dance lessons at the local dance studio. I also do a lot of volunteer work, I enjoy bringing the arts to anyone who will enjoy it.

About the lesson

Its important to begin with an understanding of what skills and knowledge the student already has to begin working with. That way you are building off of what they already know, making the most of their time and talents. Then you can suggest new ideas or propose new challenges or techniques that will help to expand their current skill set.

All ages! From Preschoolers to seniors. I have the most experience working with kids around ages 5-12, although I also have professional experience working with teenagers and young adults, as well as seniors.
