About Tom
Art is my passion! I love sharing my passion with anyone who is interested in learning and developing their art skills.
I have been drawing since age five. I took private lessons at a young age and went on to study art in high school and in college. Drawing always came naturally to me but I really honed my skills with the right instruction.
I can show you some basic exercises that will improve your drawing skills very quickly! I am offering instruction for the beginner as well as the advanced artist.
My list of accomplishments include:
• Bachelor's degree in studio art from Florida State University
• 15 years experience working as a caricature artist at live events
• 1 1/2 years working as a caricature artist at Walt Disney World
• 4 years selling my original art in retail stores and at events
• over 3 years teaching art in private and classroom settings

In the first meeting, which lasts 45 minutes to an hour, I will put you through a series of exercises to determine your skill level. From there we will determine the area that you want to focus and improve on.
