About Emma
I am currently an undergrad at UGA with an Art Education major (am considering adding an Art History major) interested in a career in teaching/education. In high school, I spent a number of years working as a teacher's assistant at local art camps. I've also done a few free-lancing jobs, helping people learn how to draw (which I am still no master at, but what does it mean to be a master anyway)? Those who I've given pointers to in this area have generally returned to me with positive feedback and notable improvement in their approaches to creating art. I've worked loosely as a writing tutor as well, helping students with their essays, and I am currently on the submissions panel for my school's literary magazine. As noted earlier, I am considering adding an Art History major to my degree plan so that I can potentially branch out and teach history if the opportunity arises. Essentially, I'm pretty artsy, love literature, history, philosophy, all that hooplah. And what I enjoy most about these things is sharing/talkng about them with others.
Sharing what I'm learning/have learned with others has always been a great tool for me to learn MORE with more complexity. A wordy truth. Considering my major, I'd love to branch out further with this pursuit. I tend to get kind of "down" when I'm not flexing my mind, and nothing does that more successfully than, based on my experiences, teachers others/them naturally teaching me back in the process.
