About Amina
This is the only African dance class where you will learn technique and style while combining creative visualization with the movements that enhance the healong energies produced naturally by the music of the African diaspora. Available for all levels and ages makes this a class that females can enjoy and bond together in.
I am passionate about teaching the cultural arts of West Africa and have been trained as well as performing for over 30 years. My studies have taken me to Guinea and Senegal as well as performing internationally.
More about me can be found at (concealed information)
I began as a student teacher and substitute at the age of 15.
I have years of training under master dancers, drummers, folklorists, and teachers of Guinea, Mali, Senegal, and The Ivory Coast.
