About Christine and
CM Dance Company specializes in private dance instruction and custom choreography for weddings and events in Silicon Valley. In addition, I work privately with students interested in performings coaching, specifically musical theatre, voic and dance. My service is top rated on The Knot and YELP.
I am dance choreographer and yoga instructor from San Jose, Ca. I hold a Bachelors of Arts degree in Dance with a minor in musical theatre from San Jose State University.
My professional performing arts background includes working as an actor, singer, dancer, choreographer and director for live performances and musical theatre productions throughout the Bay Area. I am also well known for my role as a performing arts educator to children throughout the Silicon Valley.
Along with my extensive background in the performing arts, my instruction is supported by my personal practice and teacher training in yoga. I am trained in a heart-centered approach to alignment-based hatha yoga and specialize in teaching to prenatal and postnatal moms.
In 2012, I started CM Dance Company, a business dedicated to my true calling of creating dance for the “real life stage”. After so many years of working as a performing artist, I discovered my true calling-teaching people how to dance for real life settings.
Creating for couples and their families has become my signature service. Thru my instruction, I encourage my clients to connect with one another, let go of any fears and stresses they may be carrying in their body, and ultimately get my clients to show up with confidence and grace on what is consider the biggest day of their lives.
I truly loves the work I get to do and am absolutely honored to serve my clients in this special way. Apart from my teaching practice, I enjoy being with family and friends.
