About Nali Flower
Not only have I been dancing my entire life, but i'm a technically trained dancer that has a passion for teaching ways to incorperate dance into the lives of anyone- professional dancer or not. I myself have been training for over 15 years, and have been teaching for just over 6 years now. I eaching ballet and was a scholarship recipient at the school at theAlvin Ailey American Dance theatre for 4 years. I am well versed in the technique and am thrilled to be able to pass on my knowledge.
I enjoy being able to help people express themselves through movement. Coming from someone who has been in the dance (especially ballet) world for so long, I know how physically and emotionally taxing the practice can be. I approach my work with an emphasis on kindness to self and really enjoy teaching dance as a healing practice.

- Ballet Instructor/Assistant Teacher (ages 6-9) at The School of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre (2014-2018)
- Ballet Instructor/Dance Program Director (ages 6+7) at the Boys And Girls Club- Stamford, CT. (2014- 2016)

It's best to first touch basis on how much training the new student has had. I've had experience teaching people who have done ballet for 12 years, and people who have done ballet for 12 seconds. My approach in terms of how the class would proceed all depends on the specifics of the student as every class I teach is different and personalized.
Adults, children and everything in between.

Details
My starting rate is $55 per hour and a half. We will have spoken thoroughly before your class to make sure we're on the same page regarding your level of expertise and what you hope to gain from the class. I'll be teaching over a hour's worth of personalized exercizes that I have planned to help shape your personal growth prior to the lesson.
