About Sheryl
I have been trained at Scottsdale Community College, where we learn great information on kinesiology and anatomy, and learning about the body helps explain information and instruction better.
I began my first (and only so far) teaching job at a preschool. I did work there for over a year, but am moving on.
I used to train at a studio called Cannedy, but it is now AZ Dance District.
I danced on the dance team, step team, and was the captain of both as well as was Co-Captain on the Senior dance company.
I most recently was training at Scottsdale Community College and was on both of the dance companies there, Fusion Dance Ensemble and Instinct Dance Corps, where I got to work with guest choreographers from California, and New York.

I will begin the first session by asking the student questions about themselves, what they enjoy, why they are taking class, etc. and I will ask for their dance experience, etc. and what goals they have for taking class, so I can get a basic understanding of what to teach the specific student.
