About Tamara
We are a small recreational dance studio that is affordably priced. We've been in Historic Downtown Farmersville for over 10 years. We teach students 3 to 93, in tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, acro/tumbling, and contemporary in a Christian environment.
Both myself and Miss Toni (advanced ballet, contemporary, advanced acro teacher) enjoy watching our students get physically stronger as they progress. I truely enjoy seeing them bring smiles to other peoples' faces as they learn to perform and "entertain." The confidence, cordination, and grace that they develop is beautiful to see.
I, Tamara Hanks - owner/teacher, have a Bachelor's of Science in elementary education. I have been dancing since the age of 3, and teaching for over 20 years. I studied with Al Gilbert (master teacher in tap), Janice Barringer (master teacher in ballet), Darrel Retter (business model and master teacher in all dance), and Becca Retter (master teacher of preschool). Toni Fisher, my ballet/contemporary/acro teacher, trained at Chamberland Ballet, has taught for 8 years, and attended many conventions and competitions, in addition to being a registered full-time ER nurse.

We offer a free trial lesson during our main/school-year season. This gives students a chance to try us out, as well as a chance for us to see the student's ability.

Details
Tuition for a 1 hour class (our minimum) for the main season (September-May) is $585, which we break into monthly payments of $65/mo. This tuition is "All-Inclusive", covering the weekly 1 hr lesson, costumes for performances (the spring recital costume you keep), and performance fees (no ticket sales or recital fees). Additional class time (for longer or additional classes) is $90 or $10/month for each 15 minutes (that's $360 or $40/mo. for 2nd full hour class). Family Discounts & Pre-Pay Discounts available.
