About Alexandra
The way I teach is very passionate towards the art of dancing itself. I believe dance is more then just the physical look but the emotional aspect and as a dancer the mental aspect of being discipline. I give correction with very detailed attention and do more then just tell a dancer what they are doing wrong but how they can improve, what they are improving and what is their body doing so they can fully comprehend theirselves while dancing.
I started teaching actually when I was 13, I was a volunteer at my dance studio with the preschool children and I turned into a substitute teacher for ballet/tap/jazz when I was 15, and then at 16 I started my own technique classes in jazz, contemporary, ballet, and choreography for company classes that competed.

First we will evaluate what we want to accomplish. Second we will warm up with a focus towards those goals. Third with persistent exercises and across the floors we will grasp an understanding of how we can improve anything such as flexibility, technique, artistry. Lastly, a self form of expression such as combination piece or a improvisation can solidify the process of improvement with a dancer.
I have worked with ages 5-17 from skill levels of beginner to advanced!
