About Katrina

I offer personal training for beginning through intermediate/advanced Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz. I will come to you if you have a large space, or I have access to studio rental space. I have been dancing since I was 2 and teaching for the past 10 plus years. I have four children of my own and have worked with two of them and also supported their invididual areas of passion on dance. Dancing is who I am if you ask anyone:)

I love working with children. I love teaching them how to move and expressing themselves in their own unique ways to the gift of dance. Whether it’s just as a hobby or a full time pursuit to master I believe I have the heart for each individual to not just teach but coach them. One of my favorite parts is when they see results and get to enjoy their hard earned work, and the smile a joy on their face.

I have danced since I was two. I focused on ballet, tap and jazz growing up. I started assisting my instructor when I was 13 working with the tiny’s.

in 1999 after college I started Volunteering at a local church. Eventually I was able to get the Worship Arts up and going there with daily classes at a discount rate.

In 2013 When my youngest child was in school full time I started taking contemporary/jazz classes to brush up and easy myself to apply at a local company.

In 2014 I started teaching at Groove Nation Dance Academy and I worked with all ages. I coached several teams and did several solos, duos, and trios at many dance competitions. I also continued to take classes myself.

In 2016 I went to New York with a team of students to train at New York City Dance Alliance Comference and the Broadway Dance Center.

In 2017 I started my own small business. I have worked with a local ice skating team and gymnastics team for technique and strength, Miss Teen Washington’s talent portion, a local actress and many others.

About the lesson

Dance lessons offered by Katrina are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Camas. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
