About Carlotta

I am the founder/owner and Chef of Gourmet Galz, Chef Carlotta Wartman. I have been in the industy for 30 yrs. I have experience in all cooking and baking techniques and a wide range of different cusines. I have moved in a different direction with my career choice, I want people to know what I know...just how easy it is to put great tasting and looking food on a plate for their family, friends and themselves. I have branched out to more healthy cooking options as well. I make cooking fun and exciting, not something to be scared to do. My studients take away all of my knowledge. To learn everything they want to, know matter how long it takes. My years of dedication to the food industry would be a waste if I can't share my knowledge, talent and skills with others in need of expanding their horizons with food. I started out flipping hash and eggs in a diner in Milwaukee, WI and worked my way to Chef in 3 and 4 star establishments in the Twin Cities, MN. My pholosophy is that everyone can learn as long as they put effort into it...no matter how long it takes! I am food safety and sanitation certified also...this will be the first and formost important thing any student will learn from me before setting out on their adventure into cooking. If the food and it's surrounding are not safe, people will be sick. No one wants that, now do they? I dedicate myself to my students and look forward to watching their progress the more they absorb.
