About TJ
Hello. I am a teacher and coach of multiple things. Looking to offer private chess lessons and golf lessons.
GOLF: 16 years of coaching golf. Have worked Nike Golf Camp. Willing to offer both private and group lessons.
CHESS: Chess enthusiast since the age of 8. Have run Chess Clubs for 18 years and also offered summer Chess Camps. Will work with both beginners and mid-level players. Willing to offer one on one and group lessons.

My typical process for working with a new student in any endeavor is:
1) Assess the students current skill level by either playing a game with the student OR watching them play a game with another student/opponent.
2) Do a Q and A assessment to find out how long they have been playing. Does he/she have a chess goal?
3) Set a goal of time spent playing chess, working on chess puzzles, etc. per week.
