About Jared

I am VERY passionate about helping others learn Spanish and Business in a fun way. Most students just want to "pass" the class. That doesn't always have to be the answer. Learning and succeeding in your course will assist you in gaining better appreciation for the topic as well as, prepare you for the future! Develop yourself NOW for the maximum earning potential later.

I have over 20 years of experience both in Spanish and in business. I lived in Spain for 2 years; learning, speaking, working and living among the people of Spain. My undergraduate degree is in Spanish Language and Lititure from the University of Kansas City, Missouri. Additionally, I earned my MBA from Baker University in Kansas City. In my 20 year career I worked for one of the largest Canadian banks as a Vice President/Manager of Retail Branch. I too have worked for smaller regional banks that have afforded me the ability to learn a variety of business acumen and leadership skills. In banking I am exposed to business owners daily which allow me to assist in growing their business and revenues by providing solutions to their bottom line.

I LOVE working with my employees to develop and grow their leadership attributes. Some can't afford higher education. For those already in the work force I enjoy mentoring and training them for success.

Working with business owners to develop ideas, create new revenue streams, and really understanding their business needs give me satisfaction that they too will succeed.

About the lesson

My typical process for working with a new student is to determine exactly what he/she is needing help with by asking specifc questions related to their need. I want to demonstrate how easy and fun it can be to learn new topics. By asking the student for input on their needs allows for a more productive student to teacher relationship.
