About
Hi !
My name is Ashton and I would love the opportunity to be your swim coach!! Whether the lessons are for you, a child or a family friend I am qualified to teach lessons to students ages 3 months and up !!! I have spent the last 9+ years working in an aquatics setting. From teaching to lifeguarding to managing and doing maintenance, I am confident in my ability to meet your needs. I have taught swim in a variety of settings including private lessons, swim schools and high school level competitive coaching.
I have a true passion for aquatics and plan on expanding my services this summer 2026! I will be adding CPR, first aid, and AED courses to my profile as soon as possible and plan to offer those to a wide variety of businesses and individuals in the area.
When it comes to swim lessons I take a gentle, safety first approach to my lesson plans. I focus on acclimating young or nervous students to the pool and surrounding area first. Then I build upon basic survival swim skills. After mastering survival skills I lean into teaching stroke development and continue building skills from there on up.
I have open availability from now - end of summer and encourage prospect students to contact me as soon as possible to learn more!!
