About Sydney
I am a junior Biomedical Science Major at the University of New Hampshire. I have an extensive background in the biological sciences, chemistry, and algebra. I also love to teach and work hard to find different ways to explain material until I find the one that works for the person I am teaching.
When I was in high school my chemistry teacher used to have me go into the hallway with the students who missed a class and I would teach them the lecture that they missed. It both made me understand the material better and I found that I enjoyed finding different ways to explain the material to help teach it to those who struggled with it.

First I always want to know what they are looking for from me and then I talk to them about what they are struggling with, what they are doing well with, and what they know does and doesn't work when it comes to learning.
I have worked with students ranging from preschool to college.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about what does and doesn't work for you when it comes to teaching style and see if they are willing to be flexible and work with you and your needs.
