About Andy

I provide quality, affordable individual and small group baseball lessons.

I am looking to work with youth & high school players aiming to take their baseball skills to the next level. If you are a player preparing for high school, travel ball, camps, or showcases, I can help.

Baseball skill areas include:

Catching, Pitching, Hitting, and Fielding.

I have over 12 years of experience as a high school and travel baseball coach. I take pride in understanding practice planning, scheduling, team sport concepts, and how to build a mutual respect with a wide variety of student athletes.

I enjoy working with like-minded individuals that are excited at the opportunity to expand their skills by being dedicated to the sport they love. Seeing the progression of my players is always a fulfilling experience.

I have a BA in History because my original plan was to graduate, get a teaching credential, and teach and coach at a high school. Life takes unexpected turns, which led me down a different career path, but I still have the ability to coach. I am NFHS (National Federation of High Schools) certified to coach. Have also completed many additional training courses in coaching fundamentals, arm health, mental training, leadership, first aid and the list goes on. Not to mention learning from each of my mentors and fellow coaches over the years. Some of which include, Sac Joaquin coach of the year, TVL coach of the year, and section champion coaches.

About the lesson

Generally, the first session will be an evaluation period. I can evaluate the player's strengths and possible areas of need as well as see if we are a good fit. I am really looking for players that have a passion for baseball and willingness to increase their effort in order to see progression of their skills.

I have worked with players in the age groups 9-18 y.o.

One of the most important things to look for when going to personal baseball lessons is that you have a good rapport with your trainer/coach and they know how to customize training for your specific needs.
