About Drew

•GROUND SCHOOL ONLY•

Cloud X is my Aviation Ground School Company that that can take you all the way from student pilot to CFI/I. My name is Drew Driscoll. I'm a 20 year old Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) and aspiring CFI. I currently hold a Private Pilots license along with an instrument rating while in the midst of my commercial training. My grandfather gave me the desire to fly ever since I could see out of the window. I grew up flying right seat with him in citations, king air 250's, conquest, and to many others to count. I'm new to instructing, so bear with me. We'll learn together along the way! Excited to get started!

I love seeing people progress in their own ways. From not knowing a single thing all the way to learning the language of aviation. It's very rewarding knowing that you helped them progress in their path to success.

Since I grew up in aviation, I always knew I wanted to get my pilots license. As I started training my love for it grew bigger everyday and it eventually led to my desire to teach. I've just now aquired my Advanced Ground Instructor Certificate and I'm excited to see where it leads me and my future students.

I hold a Private Pilot's license, Instrument rating, Remote pilot rating, Advanced Ground Instructor Certificate, and currently I am working on my commercial certificate.

About the lesson

This depends on the students experience level. It can vary person to person. We will communicate before the lesson and I will customize it fit to you...

Hire someone that you enjoy being around. Starting out you can easily be overwhelmed with information. Find someone that listens to your questions and is very patient. I have found that is one of the most important things for a good learning environment.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
First I'll need to know what rating you are seeking out. Once you have that take some time and really think about how much time you have and are willing to put into this. The less you do, the longer it takes. As I know we all have life to do. I recommend taking as much time as you can, get the ground school finished. The flying part is easy.
