About Emma

I have a BA in Theatre and a minor in English and am currently getting my MFA in Theatre. I specialize in Shakespeare, as well as constructing and editing effective papers.

I have been nominated by the Kennedy Center as both an actor and critic for my work in theatre.

English is my passion and my strength, and I like to share the confidence that I get from it with others.

I started grad school! Teaching is how I pay for my graduate course work, and I also teach Theatre to kids during the summer.

Master in Fine Arts - Theatre (May 2021)

Bachelor of Arts - Theatre, Minor in English

Graduate Teaching Assistant - Public Speaking

About the lesson

I like to have a Skype voice or text session to talk about their goals from tutoring - whether it be throughout a semester, or just help on a single paper.

I usually work with middle to college-age students.

Look at the teacher's ability to concisely convey their message. Do they get right to the point or do they use filler words to take up space?

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. What are you struggling with?

2. What are you doing pretty well with?

3. What are some of the notes you've gotten from teachers that seem to keep cropping up all the time?
