About Jeffrey
This is a private, one on one, completely focused on "You" acting environment. I am a professional actor who knows first hand what it's like to be an actor for hire. I have worked professionally for close to twenty years having guest-starred and recurred on numerous television shows such as "Without a Trace", "Recovery Road", "Desperate Houswives", "The Practice", "ER", "Scrubs" and "Ghost Whisperer" to name a few. Recent film credits include Seth MacFarlane's, "Ted 2" and the award winning independent film, "This is Jack" for which I received a best actor nomination.
I have worked with actors of all ages and skill levels and I have had the great privilege of inspiring them and helping them discover their passion for this amazing craft.
I started out as an actor having trained in New York and London and eventually began working professionally in film and television.
I started coaching actor friends of mine who would often come to me for help in preparing them for an audition and I came to love it. I had so many clients that it only made sense for me to start my own coaching business. I have also taught formal classes at LA Center Studios in Los Angeles as well as working as a teaching artist at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks. I have been coaching professional actors, many whom have achieved great success in television and film since 2012.
I studied for three years under the guidance of famed acting teacher, William Esper whose former students include, Sam Rockwell, Aaron Eckhart, John Malcovich, Jeff Goldblum, Larry David, Kathy Bates, William Hurt, and Timothy Olyphant to name just a few. I also studied at the British American Drama Academy in England and at the famed Actors Studio under the instruction of academy award winning actor, Martin Landau and Mark Rydell. I have also been a working actor for the past twenty years in both television and film so I have first hand experience as to what it's like to be an actor for hire.

I subscribe to Sanford Meisner's principle of acting that what an actor does doesn't depend on him, but rather on what the other actor does to him. In other words, I help the actor listen and react instead of act; to work impulsively and to respond emotionally and not intellectually. No matter the skill level, I approach the actor with the utmost respect, sensitivity and understanding that real creativity and freedom can only be achieved if an actor feels safe and valued.
I have worked with all types of students from beginners to professional actors.
My first piece of advice is to ask yourself, am I seeking out a teacher to help me become rich and famous or am I seeking out a teacher because I want to learn the craft and be the best actor I can be? I can certainly help you with the latter. There are a number of actors who get a lucky break here and there but if they are not prepared and do not have the proper skill sets, they will not be around long. The actors that stay and are able to have long careers are the ones that know what they are doing.

Details
My standard pricing for 60-minutes of one on one coaching is $75. Students can purchase a 5-pack of sessions at $350 (save $25) or 10-pack of sessions for $700 (save $50).
