About Nora
I have a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) and a Master of Arts from McGill University in Montreal. I have experience as an editor, researcher, and as a teacher and grader at the university, CEGEP, and high school level. I have tutored ESL students in private high schools around Montreal, and my students were able to succeed in their ministry-level exams.

I like to adapt my teaching methods to student needs: in my first session with students, I discuss what they see as their strengths and weaknesses. In this first session, I assess students' competency in grammar, writing (paragraph-length academic writing test), oral expression and reading comprehension in order to establish a baseline. Going from there, I develop a plan or curriculum with students in order to address the issues where they have most difficulty.
