About Bella

I come from Beijing, and I am a native speaker of Mandarin. I have 1 year of experience in teaching Chinese.

In terms of teaching, whether you are a beginner or someone who wants systematic learning of pinyin pronunciation, improvement in daily conversation, expanding vocabulary, enhancing sentence structure, or learning Chinese character writing, I can provide customized courses tailored to your needs. I aim to make Chinese lessons suitable for everyone. My classes mainly adopt interactive teaching methods because I believe the best way to learn a new language is to speak as much as possible. Also, when learning a new language, don't worry about making mistakes – it's a way to progress. Additionally, I will help you correct pronunciation errors promptly during the class because you will get a more in-depth language learning experience when you do the right thing.

Furthermore, I graduated from Coventry University in the United Kingdom, and I can speak English fluently, using it as a teaching language in our lessons. As someone who has been learning English since childhood, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. I can use my experience in learning English to help you with your Chinese studies. I genuinely hope that my students can not only improve their Chinese proficiency but also gain a deeper understanding of the rich and profound Chinese culture through learning with me.

Regarding my personality, I am an outgoing and optimistic person. Whether it's on the little things in life or challenges at work, I approach everything with a serious attitude. Besides work, I have a strong interest in sports, especially participating in boxing and trampoline exercises of Les Mills. This not only keeps me physically healthy but also helps me relax. Additionally, I love travelling and exploring the cultures and landscapes of different countries. So far, I have visited 16 countries, each leaving a profound impression on me. During my travels, I learned scuba diving and obtained OW&AOW certifications. This experience has broadened my horizons and deepened my understanding of the world's diverse cultures.

About the lesson

My Lesson and Teaching Style：

I can provide lessons for beginners, including teaching from the basics, pronunciation correction, pinyin learning, daily conversations, HSK study, travel conversations, business conversations, oral practice, and grammar learning.

In addition, beginners can start by learning Chinese pinyin and basic vocabularies and grammars to establish a fundamental understanding of the Chinese language. For intermediate-level students, we can explore more vocabulary and sentence structures through studying texts, and pronunciation corrections can be made through recitation. For advanced students, we can engage in conversations and discussions. I will give you more time to speak, allowing you to speak Chinese more confidently.

For each student, I will prepare lessons diligently and ask you about your learning preferences before our lesson so that we can make the most of our classroom time.

I will be patient with every student because learning Chinese is a gradual process that requires both the teacher's patience and the student's effort.
