About Tessa
Hi, I’m Tessa! I’m an experienced UK primary school teacher with a genuine passion for helping children learn, build confidence and reach their potential.
I have classroom experience teaching primary aged children, including Year 5 and SEN. This has given me experience adapting my approach to different abilities, learning needs and personalities.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable and encouraged. I enjoy making learning engaging while helping children develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed at school.
I’m now based in Melbourne, Australia and offer online tutoring to children in Australia.

I specialize in English, reading, writing, spelling and grammar across years 1-4, as well as Math up to Year 3. I can also provide general homework and learning support for children up to Year 5.
My lessons are tailored to each child’s individual needs, whether they need help building confidence, catching up, strengthening particular skills or simply having some extra support alongside school.
I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, encouraged and understood. I aim to make lessons engaging and enjoyable while still giving children clear structure and achievable goals.
Lessons are delivered entirely online and can be adapted to suit your child’s age, ability and learning style.
