About Zahra
I have several years of experience teaching primary school children, with a particular passion for Science. What I have always enjoyed most about teaching is seeing the moment when a child finally understands something that once seemed difficult.
Over the years, I was fortunate to receive very encouraging feedback from both students and parents. Many children genuinely enjoyed my lessons, and parents often asked me to continue teaching their children because they felt they understood the subjects better through my explanations.
Although I am no longer teaching in a school, my passion for education has never left me, and I continue to teach and support my own child’s learning. I would now love to use my experience to help other primary school children develop confidence, curiosity and a genuine understanding of Science.
For me, teaching is not simply about completing a syllabus it is about helping a child discover that they can understand, can improve and can enjoy learning.

My lessons are centred on understanding, not memorising. I believe every child learns differently, so I adapt my explanations, examples and pace to suit each student’s individual level.
When a child finds a Science concept difficult, I don’t simply move on. I break it down, approach it from different angles and use simple, relatable examples until the child can genuinely understand the idea and explain it with confidence.
I aim to make Science engaging, interactive and enjoyable, encouraging children to ask questions, think for themselves and become curious learners. Lessons can be tailored for Year 1 to Year 6, according to the child’s school syllabus, strengths and areas that need improvement.
I can also prepare customised worksheets, practice questions and revision materials based specifically on each student’s learning needs and progress.
