About Marlis
I have been teaching the piano for over 30 years. I have a degree in Music from London University. I teach children as well as adults having had experience of teaching both in schools and privately. I taught adult group classes for over 10 years in an adult learning service in Fulham. All my students do really well - whether it is for exams or just for fun. My exam students all pass - with 75% receiving a Merit or Distinction. I also teach music Theory, recorder and beginners guitar.

I have a music degree from London University and all my PIano exam grades. I previously attended many Master classes and repertoire classess - both for teaching and performing. I have also attended many Professoinal Development days. I teach adults and children beginners to grade 8. My lessons are mainly classical, but we also do keyboard skills - eg. Adding an accompaniment from a lead sheet. I have spent many years as a Church musician, and have lots of knowledge of church music.

Details
After the initial consultation, my rate of £45 an hour is payable in blocks of 4 weeks.
