About Grace
I am a piano tutor with 6 years of experience and a BA in Musicology focusing on Piano History. I teach jazz piano with an emphasis on improvisation, comping, and creating a sophisticated harmonic language.
My approach is holistic, integrating jazz theory, transcription, ear training, and rhythmic precision. Students learn to hear complex chords, anticipate changes, and express themselves spontaneously. Lessons are designed to balance technique with creativity.
I have worked with Early Intermediate, Advanced Intermediate, and Professional/Expert jazz musicians. Every lesson is personalized to match skill level and musical goals.
