About Kirsty
Hi, I’m Kirsty — a passionate dance artist, performer and creative based in London.
I trained professionally in dance and performance and have always been deeply connected to movement, creativity and storytelling. Alongside dance, I have also built a career within the Film and Television industry, working in high-pressure creative environments that have strengthened my communication, professionalism and ability to work with people from all walks of life.
Dance has always been more than just technique to me — it is expression, confidence, emotion and connection. I love helping people discover their own relationship with movement in a way that feels encouraging, uplifting and personal to them. Whether someone is completely new to dance or already experienced, I aim to create lessons that feel supportive, inspiring and enjoyable.
I am patient, warm and approachable, and I understand that every student learns differently. My teaching style focuses on building confidence just as much as skill, creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable to grow creatively and challenge themselves without pressure.
I specialise in Contemporary and Lyrical dance, with a strong focus on musicality, storytelling and performance quality. I am particularly passionate about helping students connect emotionally to movement and develop their own artistic voice.
Above all, I want my lessons to leave students feeling more confident, empowered and creatively fulfilled.

My dance lessons are designed to be supportive, expressive and tailored to each individual student. I believe dance should not only focus on technique, but also confidence, creativity, musicality and emotional connection to movement. I aim to create a safe and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable exploring movement, building confidence and developing their own artistic style.
I specialise in Ballet, Contemporary and Lyrical dance, with experience in performance, choreography and the creative arts industry. My background within both professional dance and Film/Television has given me a strong understanding of storytelling through movement, performance quality and artistic expression, which I love bringing into my teaching.
Lessons can include:
* Technique and foundations
* Choreography and performance skills
* Musicality and movement quality
* Improvisation and creative movement
* Confidence building
* Stretching and flexibility work
* Audition or self-tape preparation
I teach all levels, from complete beginners to more experienced dancers, and welcome both children and adults. Lessons are personalised depending on each student’s goals, whether that is building confidence, improving technique, preparing for auditions, reconnecting with creativity or simply dancing for enjoyment.
Typical lessons are 60 minutes long, although shorter or longer sessions can also be arranged depending on individual needs.
