About Zion

Hello! My name is Zion John, and I am a Computer Science undergraduate with experience teaching English and Mathematics to primary and junior secondary students. I believe that quality education can make a lasting difference in a child's confidence and academic growth, which is why I strive to create lessons that are engaging, well-structured, and tailored to each learner's needs. I am patient, dependable, and committed to helping students understand concepts clearly rather than simply memorizing them. My goal is to provide a supportive learning environment where every student feels encouraged to ask questions, develop strong foundations, and achieve their academic potential

About the lesson

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual learning style, pace, and goals. My teaching approach is patient, interactive, and encouraging, with a strong focus on building confidence alongside academic understanding. I break complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations and use plenty of examples and guided practice to reinforce learning.

My lessons typically last 45 minutes, providing enough time to teach new concepts, practise skills, and answer questions without overwhelming younger learners.

I have experience teaching English and Mathematics online to primary and junior secondary students (ages 6–15) through one-on-one lessons. As a Computer Science undergraduate, I value clear communication, logical thinking, and structured learning, which I bring into every lesson. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to achieve their full potential.
