About Elizabeth
Hi! I'm Lizzy, and I graduated from Oxford last summer with a degree in French and German, and was recently awarded my CELTA certification in TESOL. As a former languages student, I understand the challenges of language learning - and how to overcome them. I spent a year as a secondary school EFL teaching assistant in Austria, and have worked with children as young as 8 as a private tutor. Parents, children, and other teachers have given me great feedback about my adaptability, patience, and creativity.
I can also offer assistance with GCSE French, German, or English Language and Literature.

I blend traditional, exam-oriented teaching with creative activities and storytelling. I've seen my students grow from timid to confident speakers achieving great results.
I have taught both in-school and online, and am able to adapt my lessons for complete beginners and advanced learners. My focus is on General English and EAP and I have knowledge of both IELTs and Cambridge English Exam preparation.
