About Sienna
I am a Math tutor with over 5 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Mathematics. I specialize in introducing advanced high school and early university students to mathematical logic and proof theory. My focus is on developing formal reasoning skills, covering propositional and predicate logic, and foundational set theory. I use engaging paradoxes, illustrative examples, and problem-solving exercises to make abstract concepts accessible and stimulating. Lessons are designed to encourage curiosity and deep thinking while strengthening analytical abilities. I enjoy working with students pursuing philosophy, computer science, or pure mathematics, tailoring my approach to their specific academic goals. Each session emphasizes understanding the “why” behind mathematical structures, not just memorization. I integrate step-by-step proof techniques to help students construct rigorous arguments confidently. Interactive discussions, puzzles, and thought experiments are key parts of my methodology. I also provide guidance for exams, assignments, and preparation for higher-level studies. My goal is to build both competence and confidence in tackling complex mathematical ideas. Students develop the skills to approach unfamiliar problems systematically and logically. I aim to cultivate a love for the elegance of mathematics and its logical foundations. Together, we explore the art of rigorous mathematical thinking and master the beauty of structured reasoning.

My teaching approach to Math is highly structured, focusing on building concept upon concept. I cover core areas such as algebraic foundations, calculus concepts including differentiation and integration, geometry proofs, and probability and statistics applications. Each topic is explained with clarity and supported by practical examples. I believe strong fundamentals create lasting understanding. Lessons are designed to follow a clear progression path, ensuring each concept connects naturally to the next. I encourage active problem-solving and regular practice to strengthen skills. My method includes tailored guidance to suit each student’s needs and learning pace. I focus on making abstract concepts tangible and understandable. Every lesson integrates real-life examples to show the relevance of mathematics. I work closely to help students excel in exams and assignments. I also aim to build their confidence and analytical thinking. This approach ensures they not only learn but also enjoy the subject. Together, we create a strong foundation for academic success and future problem-solving.
