About Cole H
With an M.Ed. in LTET from University of Massachusetts Boston, I have been dedicated to helping students excel in mathematics. My passion for the subject started in middle school, where I began tutoring classmates and family members like my cousin Stan, who achieved an A in first-year calculus with my guidance. At Brookline High School, I coached the mathematics team and assisted numerous students in improving their grades. My approach involves guiding students through problems, encouraging them to persevere, and fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. With a strong background in mathematics competitions, including participation in HMMT and ARML, as well as scoring a 5 on the AP Calculus exam, I am well-equipped to support students in their mathematical journey.

My approach to teaching math is centered around guiding students through problems and encouraging them to persevere without giving up. By emphasizing problem-solving skills and critical thinking, I aim to help students build a strong foundation in mathematics that will serve them well beyond the classroom. I draw upon my own experiences in math competitions and academic programs to inspire and motivate students to excel in their mathematical pursuits.
