About Reiko

Born in Africa then moved to UK with my family when I was 3 grew up there until the age of 12 , I spent 40 years in Japan educated and graduated with the Bachelor of Arts in linguistics from Kyoto university of foreign studies. I am a 51year-old mum of two children both in secondary school. I’m located in north west Melbourne. moved from Japan in 2017. I focus on creating classes to your level ,abilities and requirements. I have experience in teaching for 22 years,as a Japanese teacher, language instructor, corporate interpreter , and English teacher , (ESL) from students from 4 years old to 78 years old students. I hold a work with children check WWCC card. My hobby is karate. Style is shitoryu. Currently black belt, first dan holder and karate sub instructor. Hope to get to meet as many students in the near future.

About the lesson

Classes for all ages, levels and goals, from basic Japanese language for beginners to advanced Japanese speaking , travelling conversation, grammar structures listening. comprehension , pronunciation, writing skills, Japanese calligraphy
Currently teaching VCE students whom have reached higher goals within a year, as well as primary students starting from prep to secondary students.
Also Students whom love to learn Japanese as a part of their joy to life.
Students as Business owners and managers , have achieved higher levels
Corporate language course for students approaching a higher business Japanese skills
I have graduated from Kyoto university of foreign studies in japan with a degree and have finished teaching courses.
