About Hilary
After graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a distinction in PGCE Primary Education, I have been teaching in both the state and private sector for over 20 years and have been Head of English and 2 Scottish Preparatory Schools. My reputation is impeccable and I have many parental testimonies to back this up.
I specialise in core literacy and numeracy skills, but also teach verbal and non verbal reasoning and I am an expert in preparing children for entry into independent schools in addition to offering general tuition. I teach online.

I offer core assessments and tailor my teaching to each child depending on their needs. With over 20 years experience, I am adept at nurturing children and helping them to regain confidence. I develop very positive relationships with families. I provide a full report after every lesson and homework if desired.
