About Alexandra
I'm a 22-year old French native speaker living in London. I've been giving private lessons for 3 years, most of them being English lessons given to French students. It was mostly about oral and written comprehension, oral and written expression, vocabulary. As I wasn't really fond of school when I was younger, I tend to give fun and easy-going lessons to avoid my students to be bored and create a real desire to learn French!

I've taught 4 different students (9, 15 and 18) with different objectives, one of them had special needs.
I tend to follow the traditional French way to teach, that is to say:
1. An activity to discover the subject of the lesson (video, picture...) which aims to create an interest in what the student is going to learn that day and to help them finding and fixing vocabulary.
2. The lesson itself which includes grammar, conjugation, vocabulary but in a way that prevents the student to be bored or overwhelmed. (I'm aware that French is such a difficult language!)
3. Exercices which can have different shapes like written exercices, oral exercices, conversational exercices, description of a picture, written expression...

No rate variation according to the student's level. The travel cost might change according to the cost of public transport I might have to pay for. (I try to come exclusively by bus to avoid big charges)
