About Rory
I've worked for London-based real estate companies for 9 years, having undertaken a degree in Architecture and a master's degree in Real Estate. I'm currently in the process of undertaking a career change, and that has led to me to tutoring in my spare time. I enjoy sharing the knowledge of Excel I've built up over my career to date and helping people improve their skills using the programme, so look forward to hopefully meeting you soon!

If you are looking to learn Excel from scratch or are looking to advance your existing skills, maybe for a project at school or work, or even a job interview, I’d be keen to help you quickly progress to the next level. I worked for 9 years as an analyst for multiple real estate companies and have become very well acquainted with Microsoft Excel over that time! Excel is a versatile tool and has a huge range of uses, from working with large data sets to building financial models, or even helping with maths problems. My goal is to help students understand the core principles of Excel because once these are mastered then it’s possible to progress quickly, work on complex projects and all importantly be confident that your work is accurate! My teaching also focuses on best practice approaches when it comes to the presentation of spreadsheets - this means that you will be able to communicate your work clearly and will help you stand out as an Excel pro! I like students to work on tasks using Excel during the lessons as I have found that it’s the most effective and fastest way to learn. I tailor my lessons to suit students’ abilities and will cover as much as possible whilst ensuring no one gets left behind! I also can provide worksheets to students to work on after the lesson to help practise what they've learned.
