About Isabelle
I'm a quiet, respectful and hardworking person who joined the teaching profession in order to help students progress. This year I decided to retire but have missed teaching so looking for students. I have found teaching overseas students inspirational over the years and a joy to see them progress to Uni or into work. Working on pre-sessional courses, I have helped students with the demands of University studies and great to see them progress onto Masters courses. I have recently moved to Shropshire from the East Midlands (worked in colleges and Uni at Nottingham and Leicester) and am now enjoying the beautiful countryside, enjoying walking and cycling here.

My lessons are normally 1 hour unless otherwise requested and I prefer teaching adults. I have been teaching for 15 years both in College and Universities (though just retired) and have been an IELTS examiner also together with some functional English experience with native speakers. I have been involved in many college/Uni inspections and have a current DBS. I'm patient and respectful, love difference and try to make my lessons imaginative! Although I prefer online I'm happy to teach one to one in a public place.
