About Lena
I’m an English tutor with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Professional Writing. I am passionate about helping young learners develop early literacy, a love of reading, and storytelling skills. I work with emergent readers and early elementary students, focusing on reading comprehension, phonological awareness, and vocabulary growth.
I make lessons fun and interactive using picture books, creative play, and engaging storytelling activities. Children explore plots, characters, and ideas while building critical thinking skills. Rhymes, songs, and games reinforce phonics and early writing in a playful way. My goal is to make reading feel exciting, empowering, and full of imagination.
